Stephen Roe Weeks (1812 – 1890), “Janitor and Assistant Librarian,” worked for Columbia from 1840 to 1887. He was loved by the students and by the Trustees.
Ruth Mildred Keller (1891-1968)
Ruth Mildred Keller (1852-1932) earned a PhD in Latin in 1937, taught high school Latin in Camden NJ for over 30 years, and cataloged the Olcott Coin Collection at Columbia's RBML in 1948-50. What a woman!
Harriet Beardslee Prescott (1866 – 1958)
Harriet Beardslee Prescott (1866-1958) was head of cataloging at Columbia for forty years, a proud and active alumna of Mount Holyoke, and a nice person.
Mary Lyon McClure (1870-1956)
